Cultures coming together

We organised Kiwi Alumni Night 2023 in collaboration with the New Zealand Embassy in Seoul. The event brought together people who studied in New Zealand and now live and work in South Korea.

The evening was a great mix of catching up with old friends and meeting new people who share a connection to both countries.

As the organiser, it was rewarding to see the turnout. People who’ve lived in both Korea and New Zealand bring an interesting perspective—they’ve experienced both cultures and understand how to bridge the differences.

Cultural Experience

We were also treated to a cultural performance from three artists:

Calligraphy Artist Lucia Choi Gayageum Musician Siyoon Lee Percussionist Shinui Kang Between them they wove Korean and New Zealand culture together beautifully.
